The chart shows how people in different age groups in Canada shopped online in 2014 and 2018. Overall, online shopping was more popular in 2018 in almost all age groups.
People aged 26-35 and 35-45 bought the most things online. In 2018, the 35-45 age group was the highest with nearly 40%. In 2014, the 26-35 group was a little higher than the others, but both groups increased over time. Young people aged 15-25 also shopped more online in 2018, but their increase was smaller.
Older people, especially those aged 55-65 and 65+, used online shopping less than other groups. Their numbers went up from 2014 to 2018, but the change was not big. The 65+ group was still under 20% in 2018, so they were the least active.
In conclusion, online shopping increased for all age groups. However, people between 26 and 45 showed the biggest growth, while older people still used online shopping the least.
