The chart illustratesus the percentage of male and female teachers in six different types of education setting in the UK in 2010.
Generally speaking, men and women have similar percentages at:Private Training Institutes, college, and secondary schools.Besides, there are also differences where one gender has an unequal percentage.
Firstly, let’s talk about men.Men have the same score as women in the types of:Rrivate Training Institutes, secondary schools and colleges. In addition, they have a more higher score in comparison with woman, who have the lowest score. However, men have the lowest score at Nursery/Pre-school and Primary school their percentages are nearly zero. That difference exists because, usually, males want to teach in higher education institutions.
Secondly, let’s talk about women.Ladies,on the contrary, have the hightest score in the whole chart at Nursery/Pre-school and Primary school.Women are more wanted in ehese settings because there are children, and they see a protector in their teacher, especially in women;it reminds them of their mother, who always took care of them.Nevertheless,in the other types, females have around the same score as men.
