The bar chart compares the proportion of male and female teachers in terms of work preferances in six different education brackets in 2010 in Uk.It is clear that working rate in nursery/primary and primary school was by far the Most popular choice for women,while men more preferred the educational system of universities.Notably,the gap between female and male workers witnessed a gradual decline until college sector ,then reversed positions .
Starting with the rates of males,it is clear that they preferred to work more in higher education.While the proportion of working rate for nursery/pre-school constituted for about only 5%,primary school had only nearly male teachers.With regard to secondary school and college,male preferred to work there with higher precentages,compared to approximately 45% and 50%.Despite making up about 47% for private training instituite ,the pattern for university had rather high rate (nearly 70% ) compared to femaleʼs
Looking at the female rates,it is also noticeable that their popular working choice was primary educational systems.The proportions of female teachers for nurcery/pre-school and primary school had the peak rates , compared to about 100% and 95 %.Despite in universities ,females preferred to work with only approximately 30%,Their rate accounted for higher rates for secondary educational systems ( between 50% and 45%)
