The bar graph compares the percentages of the genders with higher education qualifications in five different countries — Japan, United States, Switzerland, Britain and Germany — in 2001.
In general, it is evident that while in Germany the percentages of females were noted at 45%, which is approximately 10% higher than males, the reverse was true for Switzerland among women and men, with 35% and 45% respectively. In Japan and Britain the discrepancy of the genders were noticed just 10% from each other. Inversely, in United States females were 10% more than males in 2001.
To begin with, while the noticeable disparities between Germany and Switzerland were recorded that females were increasing to 45% in Germany, the reverse was true for Switzerland, with well over 40% in males. Whereas in Japan women and men had been shown around 25% and 30% respectively, in Britain this figure was 10% more than the Japan, which was observed at 30% and 35% respectively. Finally, in the USA where females were slightly higher than males, with 10% in 2001.
