The bar graph compares the data collected in a survey about the high degree qualifications in five countries among men and women in 2001.
Overall, in Switzerland, males were dominant with higher percentages, and females were significantly lower, while in Germany, women obviously had the highest data than men. These two countries mirrored each other. In the United States and Germany, females showed higher university degree qualifications, whereas it is clear that in the other three countries, males had higher proportions. Unlike any other category, Japan showed the lowest rate.
In 2001, of all five countries, Switzerland had the highest percentage of men (45%) who were educated, and women had a lower percentage (35%. In contrast, Germany involved females with 45% and males with 35%, respectively. In the United States, a large percentage of women dominated over men, and they both had roughly 40% and 35% for each.
The shares of the United States, Britain, and Germany hovered around the same percentages of (35% academic people) in 2001, while Japan stood at the lowest position for both males and females, with less than 30% of qualified individuals.
