In detail, in 2001, 45% of men and women held the highest qualifications in Switzerland and Germany, respectively. Similarly, 40% of qualifications are held by men and women in Japan and Germany, respectively.
Additionally, men from the United States, Britain, and Germany had the same percentage of qualifications, i.e, 35%. Whereas, in Britain, women had held only 35% of higher education qualifications as followed by Japan, where only 25% of women had a higher education qualification, which is the lowest as compared to the mentioned countries.
