In 1958, working accounted for 33% of the total, making it the biggest slice. Sleeping was the second, making up 32%. Going out with friend and family took up 19%. However, the proporsition of relaxing at home and other interests or playing sports was similar, standing up 8% and 6%, resplectively.
However, there were some significant changes in 2008. People spend more time at work, taking up at 42%. The percentage of relaxing at home increased at 13%, making it the third. Additionally, the figure for travel to work experienced growth, accounting for 8%. However , The percentage of sleeping dropped to 25% but still remained the second. The percentage of going out showed a decrease at 6% , making it the smallest slice. And The proporstion of other interests or playing sports accounted for 8% of total.
