Overall, in the past, people were more considered to work and sleep than simply relaxing at home. After decades, working still was the most popular, whereas spending time outdoors and hobbies were the least.
On the one hand, the figure for the individuals, who spent time on working and sleeping was around 33 and 32% consecutively in 1958. Despite this, travelling to work made up 2%, while other hobbies or sports remained at mere 6%. Although, going out with family and friends constituted 19%, spending time indoors were only 8%.
On the other hand, both spending time outdoors with close people and on other activities like sports made up 6% in 2008. Notably, people who chose napping decreased slightly to 25%. However, spending time on work increased steadily to 42%, likewise travelling for job and relaxing at home climbed gradually to 8 and 13% respectively.
