Overall, women were consistently consumed the highest amount of fruit and vegetables throughout the entire period. While lowest percentages were recorded among children in all three years.
In 2002, the figure for women stood at 25%, following a significant increase to reach a peak of 32% in 2006. Then, it expirienced a dramatic decrease to finish with 27% at the end of the timeframe.
Turning to the remaining figures, in 2002 men made up twice the proportion of children, accounting for 22% and 11%, respectively. Then, after a 4-year period men and children witnessed a substantial growth to reach a peak of 28% and 16%. By 2010, the number of men and children who consumed fruit and vegetable decreased, standing at 24% and 14%.
