The chart illustrates the prices’ changes of 800 grams of four various types of bread in the USA between 2015 and 2035.
Overall, it is clear that all four prices’ levels ended up at the higher or the same price. Two of them, the rye and the white had relatively steady growth. In contrast, the wholegrain and the brown rates fluctuated during the given period.
The rye and white types of bread started from the same point – 0,6 dollar for 800 grams. However, by 2020 the gap, which was nearly 50 cents, was established, and by 2035 it will experience rise; by the end of the period figures will end up at 0,7 and 1,3 dollars respectively.
The brown bread price level started from the same spot with the white and the rye datas. By 2025 it dramaticaly increased to 1,6 dollars. The rise will be followed by a slight decline, which will be 1,4 dollars. However, by 2035 it will level off at 1,6 point.
The wholegrain rate started from 0,8 dollars, and, as the brown level, sharply soared, reaching the price of 1,8 dollars per 800 grams by 2020. However, the following fall will drop it to the point of 0,7, and by the end of the given period it will slightly grow to 0,8 dollars.
