The diagram illustrates the process of how waste paper is recycled.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that the process is comprised of six distinct stages, commencing with the collection of waste paper and culminating in the production of usable paper.
At the beginning of the process, waste paper is collected either from public paper banks or directly from businesses. Following this, this paper is sorted by hand and separated according to its quality, with any paper that is not suitable for recycling being removed, before being delivered to the paper mill.
Moving to the fourth step of the process, waste paper undergoes a cleaning process to clean, pulp, and remove any unwanted objects, such as staples, preparing it for the subsequent stage. After that, all impurities like inks and glues are eliminated at the de-inking stage. In the final stage of the process, the pulp is channeled to a paper making machine, making the finished product: usable paper.
