The diagram illustrates the way in which waste paper is recycled.
It is clear that there are six distinct stages in this process, beginning with the collection of waste paper and culminating with the production of usable. paper through a machine.
At the first stage in the paper recycling process, waste paper is collected from two sources: public paper banks and businesses. Following this, paper is sorted by hand and separated according to its grade. At this stage, unsuitable paper is also removed. After that, the paper is delivered to the paper mill for further processing. In the mill, the paper is first cleaned and undergoes a pulping stage. Other materials, such as staples, are taken out during this phase. At the de-ink stage, all remaining glues and inks are removed. Once the paper is clean, it is finally directed to a papermaking machine to create the final product: usable paper, thereby completing the recycling process.
