Generally speaking female registrations outnumber male in almost all the discipline except art and design. The gender gap in all fields was not significant with the notable exception of the philosophy where male pupils outnumbered the female by almost the ratio of three to one.
Regarding male enrollment, all the disciplines have more number of male enrollments except the philosophy which shows ratio of three to one and it represents low attraction of these subjects to men. Linguistics based courses are the interest for male students including linguistics, Communication and media studies, English language and literature.
Looking specifically at female enrolled numbers, it outnumbers male in almost all subjects except the course of art and design. Language based courses such as linguistic, communication & media studies, English language and literature are top chosen options of selection for females as well. History and archeology discipline have the lowest enrollment among all.
