To begin with, more than half of the people living in Canada have only one vehicle. This could be as a result of high duty levies on automobiles or payment for parking space, which may be quite expensive. In contrast, those with more than two cars accounted for approximately 5% of the adult population. This minority may consist of public figures, including politicians and pop-culture celebrities.
As regards those with two automobiles, they accounted for about a quarter of Canadian residents. Concerning the last category of individuals, around one-fifth of them do not own a car. This could be because they cannot afford it. Additionally, they may prefer to walk short distances or carpool with their friends in order to protect the ecosystem.
