Overall, Theme parks and Museums & Galleries are the most preferred places for visitors, while the Historic houses & Monuments and Wildlife parks & zoos did not seem to be renowned during the time.
In terms of Museums & Galleries and Theme parks, the proportion of travel-goers going to these places signified only 1 percent difference (37% and 38%). Furthermore, we can see Theme parks consisted of 5 subareas, with the most visited one was Blackpool Pleasure Beach, allocating 47% to the Theme parks’ visitors.
Meanwhile, for the other two tourist attractions, the number of Historic houses & Monuments’ visitors (16%) nearly doubled that of Wildlife parks & Zoos (9%). The total figure of both these places only added up to 25%, showing why they seemed to lack of attractions for travelers going to Britain.
