Overall, theme parks dominated the survey which was followed by museums and galleries while wildlife parks and zoos go the lowest percent.
In 1999, 38 percent of visitors chose theme parks specifically they visited the Black Pool Pleasure Beach. It has almost half the total number out of the five places in the theme parks. On the other hand, museums and galleries remained as popular as theme parks as it got only one percent lower with 37 percent.
Less than a tenth of the tourists visited animal attractions such as wildlife park and zoos in Britain and compared to historical houses with 16 percent. It remained the lowest among the four sites.
