The pie chart and the table illustrates the research conducted on visitors who happened to visit four types of attraction places in Britain back in 1999.
Overall, nearly 80 per cent of tourists have visited the theme park and the museums and the galleries.
In the theme park, nearly half of visitors chose the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and the rest of them have been to Alton Towers, Pleasureland, and Legoland by 17%, 10% and 10% respectively. Otherwise, 37% visited museums and galleries. Despite this, just under 10% have visited the wildlife parks and zoos. Also, just over 15% of the tourists happened to visit historic houses and monuments. To close it all out, tourists choose not to go often to the wildlife and zoos maybe because they have them in their countries, and they choose to be at the theme park especially in the Blackpool Pleasure Beach instead of going to historic monuments because they find it more entertaining and more attractive.
