Overall, significantly higher amount of money came from the national government than those from local taxes and other sources. Notably, most of the funding was spent on police officers, while less on technology and buildings & transport.
To begin with sources, the highest amount of money came from the national government in both years, accounting for 175,5m and 177,8m, respectively. Local taxes held the second ranking with considerably lower figure, at around 91,2m in 2017. By 2018, the figure for local taxes increased noticeably, reaching 102,3m. The least amount of money came from other sources (38m) in 2017, and its figures rose negligibly (38,5m) by 2018.
Turning to the spending, in 2017, three-quarter of the budget was spent on salaries. By 2018, this figure decreased measurably to 69%. However, the reverse was true for technology, holding the last ranking. Its figures rose noticeably from 8% to 14%. The percentage of spending on buildings and transport remained stable, at around 17%.
