The chart illustrates the statistics of children’s toy sales in six specific countries in 2012 and 2016.
Overall, there has been a significant variance in profits earned over the four-year period in some countries, while others have experienced only slight increases or remained stable.
At first glance, it is clear that the UK and India saw the largest increases compared to the other countries. Both of them achieved at least a $2 billion increase in their annual profits in 2016 compared to 2014. Additionally, China earned $2 billion in 2016, representing a $1 billion increase from 2014.
In contrast, the toy industries in the USA and Brazil have been relatively stagnant, with only small earnings growth of approximately $500 million. However, Japan appears to be the least successful, showing no development in its sales at all. There were barely any changes in the sales of toy products, with earnings remaining at just $1 billion in both years.
