The chart displays the number of tickets sold to individuals in two age brackets during the year 2020 at the August cinema.
From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that people aged 20 to 29 purchased the most tickets for comedy films meanwhile animation had the lowest number of tickets sold. For the 10-19 age group, animation was the most popular genre and romance was the least preferred.
In terms of comedy, adults bought the highest number of tickets, with figures reaching around 160 thousands. This was significantly number higher than tickets purchase by younger cohort, which was approximately 40 thousands tickets. A similar trend was seen in tickets sales for romance films. However, action movies were quiet popular among 20-29 age genre with around 100000 tickets sold. This figure was not much higher than the 10-19 age genre, which sold nearly 90000 tickets.
While teenagers showed interest in animation and science fition, around 140 thousands and 100 thousands, repectively. For the adults group, animation was less popular, with only around 50000 tickets sales, science fition too, with over 100000 tickets sold.Young people purchased for romance and comedy remained low.
