The given bar chart illustrates the export earnings of a country for petroleum products, engineered goods, gems and jewellery, agriculture products, and textiles measured in billions of dollars from 2015 to 2016, while the table shows the percentage changes of each category in these years. At a glance, we can see that the highest recorded income is for petroleum products. It also can be seen that there has been a sharp increase in textile exports.
When considering the graph, the highest revenue ($ 60,000,000) was gained from petroleum products in both years, whereas the least amount was for agricultural products and textiles. the profit from the engineered goods was slightly higher in 2016 when compared to 2015. However, there has been a slight decrease in the yield for gems and jewellery in 2016.
According to the table, 2016 has experienced a drastic increase (15.24%) in the exports of textiles, while this percentage has shown a very low rise in agricultural products. Unlike other product categories, gems and jewellery exports have gone down significantly in 2016. The exports of petroleum products and engineered goods increased by 3% and 8.5% respectively.
