The bar graph illustrates how many tonnes of wheat, barley, rice, and other grains were available in India, the US, and China in 2001. Overall, India had the lowest yield across all types of grains, while the opposite was true for the US, except for rice where China had the highest amount. Additionally, the US and China produced the highest amount of unidentified grains.
Regarding the US and China, both countries saw the lowest yield of wheat, with respective figures being 3.5 and 2.5 tonnes. Moreover, this gap was slightly narrowed in the quantity of barley, with 7 and 6.5 tonnes, in that order. Conversely, China produced more rice than the US, with 6 tonnes and 5 tonnes, respectively. Meanwhile, these two countries dominated and shared comparable figures for other categories of grains, at 9 tonnes each.
In stark contrast, India had the poorest agriculture, producing the highest volume of just below 2 tonnes of unspecified grains, nearly twice that of rice, which was the lowest.
