The bar chart compares wheat, barley, rice, and other grains in terms of the amount of them in one hectare in three different countries in the year 2001.
Overall, it is obvious that significant differences were seen in the yield of wheat, barley, rice, and other grains in India and in the other two countries. Another noteworthy observation is that the yield of crops produced was much higher in the USA and China than in India.
In 2001, about 3.5 tons of wheat were produced in the USA, followed by the figure for China, at 2.5 tons, which was two times higher than that for India. Furthermore, the yield of barley was also the highest in the USA, at around 7 tons, approximately 1 ton higher than that in China, while a similarity was observed in the amounts of wheat and barley in each hectare (at roughly 1.5 tons) in India.
Looking at the yields of rice and other grains in more detail, in 2001, the USA and China produced 5 tons of rice and 6 tons of rice, respectively, compared to just a mere 1 ton in India. Moreover, the amounts of other grains in the USA and China were the same, at 9 tons, which were the two highest figures shown on the bar chart and nearly 5 times higher than the yield of other grains in India, at just approximately 2 tons.
