The line graph illustrates three different types of crime in England and Wales from 1970 to 2005. We can see that the three types of crimes gradually increased over the 35 years.
Overall, it’s obvious that car theft was a popular crime all given period and street robbery was the least crime committed.
To begin with, 1970 had the least number of vehicle theft at 0.4 million with in the given time. In 1975 had rose to 0.6 million and in 1980 had same rose to 0.8 million. From 1980 to 1990 had increased a little to 1 million and in 1995 years automobile theft had a peak at 1.6 million. However, after that, car theft had fell from 1995 to 2005 years to 1 million.
House burglary started in 1970 had the least number at 0.2 million. From 1970 to 1980 it had climbed to 0.6 million. At 1980 to 1985 it not changed and at 1985 to 1990 had grew to 0.7 million. Nothing changed from 1990 to 1995. After that from 1995 to 2005 had decreased to 0.5 million. As for street robbery, it started in 1990 with 0 million and increased to 0.2 million in 2000, after which it remained unchanged until 2005.
