Overall, most of the students were employed after completing undergraduate studies with a small number who remained unemployed within six years of graduating. There were students with unknown status as no information about them was available or gathered. A reasonable number of students opted for further studies either opted for full-time or part-time postgraduate study.
More than 70% of the students were employed after completing their graduation with a major percentage of students working full-time and 15% working part-time. More than 10% of the students continued their higher studies at postgraduate levels with 7% opted for full-time postgraduate studies. 12% of undergraduates remained unemployed with no information about 6% of the undergraduates.
Almost one third of the graduates choose academic teaching but 18% of the graduates withdraw 57,000-pound sterling as an average income which was 25,000-pound sterling more than History teachers. 9% of the Historians are earning less than solicitor but more then employees of any other sector. Archaeologist are earning least income of 29,000-pound sterling but they are few in numbers as well.
