The pie chart below illustrates the proportions of British sightseengs visited by travellers in the year 1999, while the second diagram depicts far more detailed view at what Theme Parks took part in the servey.
It is clear that Theme Parks was the most popular attractions, closely followed in the percentage by Museums & Galleries, being 38% and 37% accordingly. As a result, together these two categories accounted for three quarters of all the chart. On the other hand, Historical Monuments and Buildings made up with 16% of the total. At the same time, Zoos and Wildlife Parks represented a mere 9%, marked as the smalles segment.
The second part of the diagram presents data on the number of visitors per one Theme Prark. According to the scale, a little less than a half of the visitors prefered the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Another point of interest is that the Atons Tower was the second most attended Park (17%) and only a small minority of people chose the Legoland (10%).
Overall, it can be seen that Theme Parks were the most common choise among tourists in 1999, while the Blackpool Pleasire Beach was the main option among other Parks.
