The given chart provides information about how frequently people ate in fast food restaurants in the USA over a period of 10 years, starting from 2003 to 2013.
In the year 2003, only 4 percent of people ate junk food every day. Whereas, more than 15 percent of the population preferred to have a meal several times a week outside home at a restaurant. Approximately 30 percent of citizens consumed junk food once a week. Similarly, 30 percent of people ate fast food once or twice a month. There are very few percent of people who never consume junk food.
Reviewing the data for the years 2006 and 2013, the ratio of the population decreased who consumed unhealthy food every day compared to the year 2003. Meanwhile, the proportion of citizens who ate fast food several times a week and once a week increased to 20 percent and 32 percent respectively in the year 2006, then after fell down in the year 2013. There has been a small rise in the proportion of people who preferred to consume food outside home a few times a year in the years 2006 and 2013.
Overall, it is clearly seen that most of the civilians ate junk food once a week and once or twice a month.
