Overall, Brazil experienced an upward trend, and Colombia showed a downward trend from the years 1990 to 2010. Indonesia and Vietnam do not show much of a change from 1990 to 1995; after 1995, there is a steady increase for both countries.
Brazil, clearly produces the most amount of coffee compared to the other countries, around 0.7 million tonnes in the year 1990 and significantly increasing all the way up to approximately 1.9 million tonnes in the year 2010. In the years, 1995, 2000 and 2010 Brazil produces almost more coffee than production of coffee among all the other three countries combined.
Colombia is the second largest producer among the four given countries despite the decline in coffee production in this 20 year period. Indonesia and Vietnam lie stagnant at around 0.2 million tonnes and around 0.1 million tonnes respectively between the years 1990 and 1995. However, there is a rise in the following years, and both almost double their production in the year 2010.
