The pie chart shows the various kinds of fruit that elementary school children prefer in New Zealand. In general, students are basically interested in bananas, strawberries, and oranges.
Firstly, the most popular fruit in this survey is bananas, which accounts for the largest proportion of the chart at 34%. Elementary school students also prefer strawberries. This kind of fruit makes up 27% of all the survey. Oranges is less interested than the first two, which represent 15% of the pie graph. To summarize, students are mostly interested in bananas, strawberries, and oranges.
On the other hand, apples seem to be slightly less popular than oranges; they make up 14% of the total. Peaches don’t have a really good reputation among the students because they only account for 7% of the pie chart, so this is the second least popular. Kiwi fruit is the least popular kind of fruit in the survey. It is surprising because, in fact, this is the native kind of fruit of New Zealand, which only represents the smallest part of the chart at 3%.
