The graph illustrates the calculation of the numbers of males and females who study full-time or part-time in three periods.
Overall, the number of full-time educations is lower than part-time education for men and women in around three periods 1970/71, 1980/81 and 1990/91.
It is clearly seen in the chart that the highest number of men part-time studying was in the year 1970/71 with 1000 further education, while women’s highest number of part-time education was in 1990/91 almost catching up to 1200. While there was a significant increase of men in full-time education during the period even though the number was still lower than the part-time education. In addition, the number of women in full-time education was getting worse in 1970/71 which was the lowest number more or less below 100. However, the number of part-time educations in 1990/91 was the same number for both males and females which was 200.
