The bar chart indicates the proportion of individuals living alone in five different age groups in the USA between 1850 and 2000.
Overall, all of the age groups had an upward trend. Initially, the USA’s living alone lifestyle just had three types of age groups. Then one more group appeared and all of these populations grew dramatically.
In 1900, the number of people in the age range of 37-46 and 47-54 remained unchanged, but the latter rose slightly 1% higher than the former. The group of 55-64 years old increased marginally from 3% to nearly 4%. Moreover, since 1900, the appearance of people in 27-26 varies the diversity of this accommodation.
It can be seen that in 2000, the elderly people climbed significantly approximately three-fold times compared to 1950 and still grew higher, reaching 17%.And the 47-54 age range followed a second rate, reaching a peak of 13%. The others fluctuated gradually, which made their living standards more popular.
