Overall, the shares of people who accessed from tv, newspaper and radio expected to decrease significantly during the period, while the percentage of using internet for reading news will see a sharp growth. Notably, the figure of people who read news from internet projected to become the dominant in the future.
In 1995, the figure of people who accessed lasr news from tv was around 68%, which then this figure saw decline to about 55% in 2020. After that, this share estimated to decrease to 50% in 2025. Similarly, there was a significant difference between radio and newspaper, in terms of people who accessing news. The proportion of using newspaper for reading news decreased from 55% to almost 32% during the period (1995:2020). In contrast, the percentage of people who accessed news from internet experienced a slight growth from 0% to almost 3% between 1995 and 2003. After that, this figure incresed dramatically to 29% until 2020. Then, its share will see incline sharply to around to 55% in 2025.
