The line graph provides data on how many people received updates via a variety of sources- TV,radio, newspaper along with the internet in 1995 and predicted figures in 2025,measured as percentages.
Overall, the proportion of people for all categories is projected to decrease with the exception of the internet which will increase at the end of the period in question,
albeit at varied degrees.
Looking closer on the line chart,TV was the dominant form of news consumption, accounting for a whopping 69% people. However,it declined sharply over five-year time frame after which the period of stability began, following closely by a decrease in 2025,at exactly 50%,ranking second favourable option for consuming new information. In stark contrast, accessibility of news through the internet followed a different pattern. From 1995 to 2000,the proportion of individuals remained relatively consistent, just mere 1%.In subsequent years, the sector is anticipated to experience a dramatic rise to approximately 55%,being the predominant way of staying informed in 2025.
Regarding the less popular source of receiving news, newspaper and radio underwent an identical trend. In the initial 15-year period, the number of news consumers fell from roughly 57% to over 40%.For the following years, predictions show that the percentage will proceed to reduce by 2025.
