The following bar chart illustrates the portions of each women and men passing their driving test and therefore receiving their license in one asian country, during the timespan of 1980-2010. 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010 are hereby held in comparison.
Drawing ones attention on first notice is the fact that in general a higher percentage of women are to pass the examinations. While reaching about 48% in the year of 1980, it was the time when the fewest number of females acquired their license, for men only one percent more was their peaking point happening in 2000 and 2010. In 1980, the first year of the study, they were at a success rate of not even a third of everybody partaking in the test. Later on, there is an increase to be seen as the bar gained 7%.
Furthermore this growth is also noticeable for the womens chart, although the numbers have risen less significantly here. 48% was portion in 1980 and ten years later slightly more than half of women have gained their license, reaching its highest point in 2000 with nearly 70%, which however declined to 64% after another decade has passed.
