Overall, economy and premium economy experienced a substantial growth, with the latter reaching the highest proportion, while business class witnessed a significant decline over the ten-year period. Besides, there was a negligible change in the first class.
In 2005, economy and first class followed the same trajectories, both of which accounted for 80%. Despite levelling off in the next five years, the figures experienced an increase to 90% and 85% by 2015, with the former becoming the second-highest figure.
When it comes to premium economy and business classes, the figures showed a significant disparity. In 2005, the percentage of passenger load in business class was 90%, the largest proportion in that year, closely followed by premium economy with 85%. However, the latter increased significantly, reaching its peak of 95% before remaining stable. Meanwhile, the business class reported a sharp decrease to 65% in 2010 before partially recovering to 75% by the end of the period.
