The given line graph illustrates the unemployement rate in countryside and city areas in Australia in 2012.

Overall, the proportion of unemployement had a decline in rural locations; whereas, in the urban towns the rate has increased with large fluctuations over the given period of time.

In the begining of the first quarter the percentage of people who do not have a job is approximately 6.5% in the countryside and it has a sharp drop to around 4.5% at the start of the first quarter. Thereafter, over the period of third and fourth quaters, the rate did not fluctuating a lot.

With regards to the urban locations, the percentage of people who did not have any work was slightly above the 2% and it stood at 4% at the begining of the second quater of the year. However, the rate showed a significalt drop to again 2% at the third quarter and gone up to just below the 5% in the fourth quater.
