The chart below relates the people and the weight measurements in Newtown in 2010. On the axis there are the different age-gaps, precisely on the orizontal one, while the vertical represents the percenteges. Furthermore, the several colors indicate the type of weightness: obese, overweight, ideal and underweight.
Firstly, the chart shows that the percentege of people increases proportionally with the age, while the underweight’s is roughly high for people in the first leg, irrelevant for the ones between 30 and 39 years old, almost zero for both people that are between 40 and 49 and between 50 and 59, instead of people that are in the last column, the eldest one, whose percentege of underweight is under the youngest one by few points
Nevertheless, the most relevant feature is the percentege of ideal weight, which is quite high for all the ages except for the oldest, whose percentage is the smallest among all of them.
To sum up, the chart underlines that younger people tends to be in a better shape than the older ones, maybe also due to the descrease of their health and strength, are likely to be more heavier
