Overall, it could be seen that fast food meals were not so popular at first time in comparison to the sit-down restaurant meals. Moreover, during the whole period of time given, the frequency of homecooking experienced a few significant changes as well as the percentage of food budget spent on restaurant meals.
With regards to the fast food meals, it is detectble that in 1970 they were not so popular as well as sit-down restaurant meals. However, after few years it reached its peak in 2000 at the amount of around 85, in comparison to the sit-down restaurant meals, that experienced a plummet and stopped at the number less than 50.
On the other hand, the main feature of the pie charts is the homecooking, which sector did not reach a percentage of less than 50 during all years. Furthermore, the percentage of food budget which was spent on restaurant meals was a fluctuation during the 30 year period. It started from the percentage of only 10% in 1970 and then rose up to 50% in 2000.
