The bar chart shows the number of admissions for entertainment venues for sports, theme parks and cinemas and the table reveals the admission price for various venues in the same year. Going to the cinemas was both the cheapest and popular time of entertainment in 2009.
Cinemas attracted more than themes parks and sports combined. Whilst more than 1,050,00 of people go to the movies only 300,000 of people went to the theme park and a less than 200,000 of people attended sports entertainment.
Movie tickets was the cheapest option of entertainment in 2009. The price for a football game cost around $73 in 2009 with little reduction for families. Basketball and cricket game costs less for a single ticket with $34 and $24 respectively, however the family ticket for cricket shows considerable saving with a price of $80 for four people. Theme parks showed a slight difference in price compared to a football game with a price of $70 for a single ticket. The price for the theme park family ticket showed a significant reduce with 4 people gaining the entry with the price of 3 person entry. Movie tickets with a price of $15 for a single ticket and $55 for family prices has been found as the cheapest price.
Overall, the cinema is the best entertainment option based on the attendance and the cheap ticket price.
