The pie chart given illustrate two different categories of waste disposal in one country from 1960 to 2011.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that plastic, food, and wood being disposed of experience an upward trend, the opposite was true for paper and textiles. Additionally, green waste, metal, and glass waste remained stable.
In 1960, the ppercentage of paper dominated the chart at approximately 25% which was roughly 8% higher than textiles. Food ranked third at 12%, compared with a mere approximately green waste, plastic and mental the same was 8%, while glass came in last at 5%.
In 2011, food experienced an exponential growth and reached a peak of around 21%, plastic increasing 10% exactly 18%. Furthermore, green waste and metal remained unchanged at 9%. While textiles waste decreased to 11% and paper waste to 15%, and wood increasing to 8%. And the lowest was for glass in the chart.
