The bar chart and pie chart illustrates three different levels of education in Glasgow in 2010. Information is divided into five age groups and gender.
Overall, majority of the young generation graduated with university degree, while the aged population represents the highest number of having no qualifications. In terms of gender, minimal differences are noted between the levels of education.
The proportion of people who gained university diploma corresponds between 71% to 76% for the younger generation with ages below 50. Meanwhile, the older people aged 50 above has the lowest education level with no qualification. Which it equivalent within 50% for ages 50 – 75 and a 25% on ages 75 above. On the other hand, older generations are on top of the list in terms of no qualifications with 72 percent compared to ages 16 to 50 years old with only 9% of the data.
In terms of gender, there a only slight differences, men with university degrees are higher by 3% compared to women having 29% of its gender group. Moreover, both genders of all ages have equal proportion of school certificate. In addition, women who have no qualifications are higher by 3% in contrast to male having 35%.
