Overall, the number of people using libraries remained unchanged after 9-year-period. Additionally, the percentage of individual who went to the libraries in order to borrow or return books made up dominate rate in both 2 years, whereas, there was a new type of activity which had not seen before in 2000.
Regarding the percentage of user visiting pubic libraries to borrowed or returned books was declined by 10% after 9 years, from 65% to 55% in 2000. Similarly, people who read newspaper or magazine showed the same pattern, which decreased to 5% in 2000. Moreover, the figure of citizen studing in libraries underwent a significant downward trend, at arounf 2% during 2000, making it the least popular option compared to the others.
Nonetheless, the proportion of people obtaining information illustrated the different pattern, which was dramtically increased to 20% after nearly one decade, which was the second most popular activity in 2000. Remarkably, pulic libraries witnessed a new type of activity, which was borowed or returned videos. However, this option was choosed by 18% of individuals visiting in the total.
