The given pictorials delineate the world’s top three producers of four different dairy goods in 2012. At the first glance, the charts show that EU was always on the lists and held the highest number in products twice, whereas Brazil, China, and New Zealand just only appeared once.
Turning to details, in terms of milk and cheese, EU was the top producer with 147,970 and 7,120 metric tonnes, relatively, followed by India with 127,000 metric tonnes in milk, and United States with 4,920 metric tonnes in cheese. Moreover, in terms of cheese, the third place, Brazil, was left a huge gap behind with just 700 metric tonnes.
However, in terms of butter, India was on the peak with 7500 metric tonnes, which was much higher than the second place, EU, with a nearly 3000-metric ton gap. In addition, China produced the most with 1200 metric tonnes, compared to 1100 metric tonnes of New Zealand in terms of milk powder.
