The bar chart compares the proportions of people base on their age group who are injured at their workplace and categorizes causes of injuries in terms of type of the industry (education and health, leisure and hospitality, manufacturing, and mining and construction). This data is for a certain country, collected in 2018.
Overall, It was more likely that elderlies were harmed in both education & health and leaisure & hospitality, while youngest age bracket unfortunately had the highest chance of suffering from an injury in mining and construction.
The percentages of the injureds between 25 and 34 in all industries were never higher than 25%, whereas this group faced least injury conditions in education and health, with just 5%. Regarding manufacturing sector, the figure for middle aged (from 35 to 49) stood at 35%, which is the higher than any other sectors for this age group. Moreover, youngest and oldest age groups had 40% and 35% injuries, respectively, in mining and construction which is much higher compared to the two middle groups are markedly lower, at 15% (25-34) and 10% (35-49). As graph shows, the probability of injuries increased by around 7% by every rise in age groups in leisure and hospitality.
