The pie charts compare the world’s expenditure which is classified into five categories as well as the global population which is also divided between five continents.
Overall, the largest portion of money is spent on food followed by transport, housing, and clothing, whereas Asia is responsible for the largest number of individuals followed by Europe, America, Africa, and others.
Food is one of the main feature for expenditure with 24%. That is one fourth of the total spending. In addition transportation, housing, and clothing also play an important role in the expenses with 18%, 12%, and 6% respectively. Moreover, it is stated that 40% of the expenditure is spent on other items.
However, Asia ranks first in terms of population by 57%. That is about one sixth of the total population. In addition, Europe and America together contribute to the one third of the population . At the same time, Africa has the one tenth of the overall population. It is also noticed that 5% of the population is distributed within other.
