The given charts depict the types of dances classes young people are attending in a town in Australia on basis of location and age.
A majority of younger ones attended dance class in private studio with 48%, followed by school halls with 24%. As some students can take dance classes after school. In addition, 18% of the young people took dance classes in community halls, whereas 10% attended dance classes in college-based studios.
Furthermore, the greatest number of students who were under 11 years of age took part in ballet as compared to students who were aged between 11 to 16, took part in modern dance. Another form dance was tap dance in which number of students of both age groups were nearly same with 420 and 450 respectively. Moreover, the young students who took part in contemporary dance was age group between 11 to 16, and over 500 students participated in it.
To conclude, the younger students under 11 age group were more interested in ballet dance, followed by tap, and modern. Comparatively, the students age group between 11 to 16 were more interested in modern, followed by tap, and ballet.
