Overall, it can be noticed that private studios have the highest contribution compared to the other locations for dance classes. In terms of age groups, on the other hand, ballet is the most popular dance type among the students under 11. It is reversed in the case of students between 11- 16 age, modern dance type has the highest number of students.
Most of the dance classes are held in private studios of 48%, followed by the school halls with a proportion of 24%. College based studios stand the least of all with 10% and community and halls is third highest with a contribution of 18%.
According to the age groups, it is clearly visible that dancers under the age of 11 are performing ballet dance with a total number of 600 children. And the age group from 11 – 16 are practicing the 300 number of young dancers.Tap dance type have almost the same number of students for both age groups that is around 450.
