Overall, it can be seen that the level of satisfaction with the education system in Japan, Germany, and Brazil increased, whereas they decreased in the USA and Australia. Further, satisfaction levels in Japan were consistently the higher over the entire period.
Looking at the data sets that increased in more detail, it is clear that the percentage of people who were satisfied with the education system in Japan stood at about 55% in 1990. By 2010, this number had increased to about approximately 70%, which was the higher point on the chart. The level of satisfaction with the schooling system in Germany and Brazil showed similar tend, raising from 15% and 33% to 36% and 50% in 1990 and 2010, respectively. Satisfaction levels in Brazil, therefore, showed the greatest increased over the entire period.
Turning to the remaining data set that decreased in more detail, it is clear that about 50% people in Australia were satisfied with the education in 1990. This figure slightly increased to about/approximately 59%, dropped to 43% in 2005, and then remained almost constant at this level till the end of the period. Similarly, the percentage of people who were satisfied with the education system in the USA fell from 45% in 1990 to 29% in 2010.
