In general, the percentage of OS 1 gradually increased over the period. By contrast, the figure of the rest computer systems had an opposite tendency. Meanwhile, OS 2 and OS 3 remained relatively stable in 2012-2015.

In 2012, the proportion of others had the highest rate, accounted for 48% of global market share, compared to 20% from OS 1 and only 17% and 15% from OS 2 and OS 3 respectively. By 2013, OS 1 moderately increased, to nearly 40%, while OS 3 declined to 10%. Most strikingly, the rate of OS 2 remained unchanged and stood at 17% in both years.
