The bar graphs illustrate the number of graduate and postgraduate students in the UK who engaged in full-time work after graduation in 2008.Overall, it can be seen that, huge number of students pursued their further study, whereas the least people were engaged in voluntary work. The ratio of part-time work and unemployment was slightly different.
Most of the graduate students choose their further study as compared to postgraduate, a massive difference can be seen between them, is of 26,000, as postgraduate students have a lot of experience in their field and are capable of doing work. Part-time work came in the second list among graduated students; 17,735 students were involved in part-time work, whereas 2,535 were from postgraduation.
The unemployment rate is also high, due to a shortage of work. About 16,235 graduate and 1,625 postgraduate students were sitting at home, whereas fewer students preferred to engage in voluntary work rather than doing nothing and the difference between graduates and post-graduates is exactly 3055.
